91ΑΤΖζ and instructors alike often have mixed feelings about group projects. In this session, we will discuss ways to set up group projects in order to maximize their benefits and limit their challenges.
To do so, weβll listen to clips from the Teaching Takes podcast, where instructors from across the nation share their βtakesβ on how to design group work well. Weβll discuss each take and consider its implications for teaching and learning. Afterwards, weβll explore what the literature says about how to structure group projects for success.
This is a discussion-based session (not a workshop), so please come ready to share your thoughts.
