Rita Suh

Dr. Rita Suh is an assistant professor in the Department of Teacher Education and serves as the UTEACH coordinator and LBTR co-coordinator. She also works as an educational consultant conducting professional development in the fields of equity, culturally and linguistically sustaining pedagogy, language acquisition, and supporting speakers of African-American English and Chicano English. She works to ensure teachers, students, and families whose experiences, identities, and histories are typically silenced or ignored in schools are not only celebrated but leveraged in schools.
