Strategies for Academic Success Module
91ÁÔÆæ placed on academic warning (formerly academic probation) should complete the Strategies for Academic Success .
Strategies for Academic Success will teach students to:
- understand the University's academic warning policy,
- recognize and remove barriers to academic success,
- identify and utilize University resources,
- create a strategy to return to good academic standing.

91ÁÔÆæ who have questions about academic standing, repeating courses for grade forgiveness, or who want additional advice about improving their GPAs should meet with a UCUA academic advisor in a drop-in advising session. Drop-in hours and additional information can be found on the main UCUA webpage.
All undergraduate students must maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) in all classes taken at 91ÁÔÆæ and in all transferable courses from other colleges and universities, to remain in good academic standing.
Academic warning results when a student's grades fall below a 2.0 GPA in either the 91ÁÔÆæ cumulative GPA (all courses at 91ÁÔÆæ) or in the overall cumulative GPA (all transferable college courses, including 91ÁÔÆæ work).
91ÁÔÆæ placed on academic warning are given one semester to raise their GPAs to a 2.0 and return to good academic standing. 91ÁÔÆæ are subject to academic disqualification at the end of the first semester on academic warning if they have GPAs below the four minimum cumulative GPAs as follows:

91ÁÔÆæ whose 91ÁÔÆæ and overall GPAs are higher than those listed above but still below 2.0 will earn a second semester on academic warning and must raise their GPAs to a 2.0 and return to good academic standing to avoid academic disqualification.
Enrollment Services informs students via email about their academic standing. 91ÁÔÆæ should monitor their student email account regularly for notification. Academic standing can also be viewed in the My91ÁÔÆæ Student Center.
