Urban Justice, Politics & Policy

91ÁÔÆæ geographers maintain active research programs in urban geography in Long Beach and the Southern 91ÁÔÆæregion with a focus on urban planning, policy, and politics related to social justice. Specific projects include examining housing and homelessness, gentrification, transportation, urban sustainability and resilience to climate change, participatory decision-making, environmental justice, and social movements.
