There are many ways to get involved within your residential village community. Village Councils are the first step towards getting involved! They plan and create fun events and programs to make their region's community a better place. They also serve as the voice for students in the village with direct connections to our Residence Hall Association (RHA) executive board
Residence Hall Association (RHA)
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a variety of initiatives and programs that support 91ÁÔÆæ Curriculum & Student Housing’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The Residence Hall Association also provides a platform for residents of the three undergraduate Housing Villages (Beachside Village, Hillside Village, and Parkside Village) to have a representative voice in their residential communities. The Residence Hall Association Executive Board will be comprised of 7 staff positions including President, National Communications Coordinator, and Vice Presidents of: Leadership, Administration & Finance, Programming, Marketing, and Service & Recognition.

Village Councils
Village Councils are a great way to get engaged with Student Housing and your specific Village to help plan programs while assisting in the development of the community's identity. Each Village Council will be advised by Residential Life Coordinators and also have regular connection with the Residence Hall Association. Village Councils will consist of their own executive boards including Co-Presidents, a VP of Finance and Administration, a VP of Logistics and Planning, and a VP of Marketing and Retention. Residents interested and not seeking a leadership position are still encouraged to get involved as general body members!
How to Join Village Council
Village Council info sessions will be held during Beach Days. The application for Executive positions will close on August 28th, 2026 at 8AM, and from there staff will plan elections processes for student interested.
